Dr. Sibelia introduces Pug Therapy and why she created our organization.
At Pug Therapy, our goal is to provide canine therapy services to people in need. We believe that everyone can benefit from canine therapy, and want to expand our outreach to as many groups and communities as possible near Oceanside, CA.
Freyja is a 4 year old pug who completed her Canine Good Citizen test last year! She loves cheese, long walks, and getting lots of love and pets from her human friends. Freyja is undergoing more extensive training to help her become an even better Therapy Dog.
Sekhmet is a 13 year old pug with some medical issues so she is semi-retired, making cameo appearances only. Sekhmet spent a few years a Service Dog for a person with pain and depression before becoming a Therapy Dog where she has worked for many years bringing joy and love to clients of all ages.
Dr. Chaiyahat is the president and founder of Pug Therapy. With over 20 years of experience as a mental health therapist, her goal is to help people heal through canine therapy.
